“All this fuss about saving pennies and hair-dryers! Just tell your constituents
to put a Symtec (now Design Logic Inc.) engine heater on their engine, and they
will have 65+ degrees on their coldest cyl. in the morning of the coldest day.
Just plug it in, and forget about it! I did some of the original testing on this
product (written for Cessna Owner Magazine in 94), and for pennies a day, you
can safely plug this product in and forget about it; thermal fuse and in-line
thermostat on three separate elements, with a ‘never-coke-the-oil’ max temp. No
moisture in your engine, EVER! All aluminum construction; true convective
heating of the ENTIRE engine… I know all about the supposed acids that get
discombobulated by leaving a heater plugged in all winter, so: plug it in a few
hours before you fly if this is a concern (I don’t agree)! This product is a
true HIGH QUALITY answer to cold engines, and NO, I am not an employee nor do I
