Performance Test An independent test was done on the performance of a Design Logic heater. In the March/April 1999 issue of the The American Star, writer Rob Logan tested the performance of the Design Logic pre-heater over seven hours for his Lycoming O360-A4K. The temperatures recorded were of the oil, cylinder heads (CHT) and outside air (OAT). The following table displays the results for the Design Logic pre-heater:
